Oh, yah, and a mommy comment…. I can’t believe there are only 2 weeks left of school before my baby is no longer a kindergartener!!! Where’d the time go? She’s so sweet, smart, and grown up already. (Then there are the times she’s not remotely sweet, does something ignorant, and acts like a baby. hahaha)

I have a funny mom story to share. When my son was 3 months old my cousin and her kids came to see Noah and I. Well while we were visiting I noticed an odor so I got up to change him. I guess he wasn’t quite finished yet when I undid his diaper I quickly closed it and waited. When I was done changing him we went back to our company. I was sitting there talking and I ran my fingers thru my hair as I always do and I looked down at my hand and I had poop in my hair! My cousin’s kids thought it was hillarious! So funny they called their dad and told him about it.

My husband passed away almost 10 years ago–my son was 3 1/2–and it’s just been my son and me since then. When he was 5 I got a bad case of the flu. I’ll never forget how he took care of me. He kept coming in my room to check on me and give me hugs and kisses–and even a glass of water at one point. As a mom, it doesn’t get any better than that!
