I am currently a member of hiremymom.com (thanks for the tip Sarah) and have been a member for a few months now. Like Sarah mentioned it is not a get quick scheme. You really have to work at getting the jobs, post your resume, have the interviews (phone in my case).. like any other corporate jobs. This is just geared toward the working momma, I love it!

Hey Melinda, Why are you skeptical? This isn’t a get rich quick scheme or a pyramid scheme it’s real jobs posted from real companies…some that have posted – Boogie Wipes, My boss, Laura Roeder, One Goodie, a BUNCH of others. It’s like Monster job boards but for MOMS. That’s all. Good luck!

I’ve wondered about doing this. I know you had success but I’m so skeptical about everything. I would really like to stop doing what I’m doing now (daycare) for a “real” job not just a mommy job.

thanks for sharing this with us. Ive been trying to find LEGIT stay-at-home work for the past 3 months. Most are scams. I found a few good temporary jobs last year on on http://www.momsjobs.com but they were only 3-4 week jobs and I haven’t found anything this year. i will check out this site and hopefully be able to find summer work.

You know I was going nuts trying to fit it all in at the same time but I started a schedule and it really has opened up my life so that I can balance both work and family. It helps me and the ids know what we are doing when.

I work an hour in the morning, first thing while they eat breakfast or watch their morning show

Then a couple of hours at lunch when they (or at least Leah) takes a nap. then maybe another one after they go to sleep if I still have things to wrap up.

I also got an iphone…and it allows me to check email while out. (I’m going to post about that too…it ROCKS!)
