Happy Monday! It’s time to get our hula shake on! Here’s how it works… Ohana Mama will have 1 featured site that we think is shakin’. Then you can share, in Mr. Linky, your upcoming giveaways, funny posts from last week, latest promotion, you name it! This goes for mom businesses too – please please share your latest sale or new items in your store! Here is Ohana Mama’s pick to start off this week’s Hula Shake Around the Blogosphere

Community.  We hear it time and time again, blogging is all about community.  Today I am showcasing BLOG LOVE, a movement in the blogosphere that brings out the true essence of being a real, caring, helping community…

Blog Love was started by Amy of Swag Studio (a fun and swanky new blog that I am loving!) and Erin over at Pour Some Sugar on Me to help another fellow blogger, Beth of ManicMother.com (phew…are you following me here?)

Beth’s adorable son Ezra was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. Whether you have a child or not, you can understand how difficult this time is for Beth’s family.  The emotional roller coaster, the worry, and to make matters worse, the financial strain this type of news brings with it, it’s all overwhelming, I am sure.

Amy & Erin came up with the idea of BLOG LOVE bracelets…they resemble the Live Strong bracelets but are in blue in honor of Ezra.  For each bracelet you buy ($5 each), all proceeds will be sent to Beth and her family to help them cover some of their expenses as they kick cancer’s ass and get Ezra healthy.

BLOG LOVE…I love this idea.  I truly believe that the power of positive vibes, prayers, well wishes… all of that positive energy can truly make miracles happen. BLOG LOVE  is sure to continue to be a wonderful way for the blogging community as a whole to show how we can band together to create great things, celebrate triumphs and power together to get through rocking waters.  If you would like to donate and receive a BLOG LOVE bracelet, head on over to Swag Studios or Pour Some Sugar On Me.  You can also donate directly to Ezra on Beth’s site, ManicMother.com

Now it’s your turn! Share your great posts, latest giveaway(s) or promotion(s) below in Mr Linky. Be sure to visit each other, leave comments, make it a grand hula shake across the blogosphere! Share the Aloha! (if Mister Linky doesn’t work, leave your links in the comments)

Have a shakin’ week everyone!

Aloha Ohanamama, thanks for hosting this hula shake. I am linking one of my posts for Something More Of Hawaii – to promote Maui (specifically Maui Ocean Center that post). It’s not a paid post, but I love Maui Ocean Center so I am promoting it :)

I will visit the others here too. Mahalo!

Agreed. Prayers, well wishes, and the like, work. Brings to mind the All You Need Is Love version from the movie Love Actually.

There’s just something about Hawaii that’s shoutin’ “happiness”! I love it. :-) Great idea for bloggy love, this whole hula shakin’ thing.

Aloha, just found your blog by surfing the net. I’m learning the hula now and I and my two friends will be dancing during our upcoming fundraiser for the Kailua Elks Lodge major project fundraiser to help handicapped children.

Mahalo for allowing me to post and link my site.
