In one week on June 27th, it will have been one year since my very first post on The Ohana Mama (formerly known as Ohana Mama Blog).
My first post, and what started me on this journey, was for a product that I am still using daily with my kids and am still sharing with parents, both online and offline, Dapper Snappers! Chelle, the creator of Dapper Snappers, gave out samples to a bunch of other mompreneurs on mompreneursonline.com and asked us for feedback (she is a SMART cookie…one of the many successful and inspiring mom entrepreneurs I have met through Ohana Mama). I took a pic of my son wearing it (she still uses him as one of her models on her site), sent her my testimonial (it’s also still on her site) and then shared it with my mommy friends on The Mamasphere (formerly BabyTalkBio). And then I put it on the brand spankin’ new Ohana Mama Blog. And the rest is history! It’s been a great ride.
CELEBRATE! To celebrate my one year I am giving away an ALOHA PACKAGE filled with goodies from my town. And I’m giving it away to one of my subscribers…the folks that get my posts directly to their inbox or in their readers. It’s my way of saying MAHALO!
So what do you need to do? If you subscribe? Not a thing! Just keep on enjoying The Ohana Mama.

Congratulations “Ohana Mama!” Cannot believe a year has already passed, wow. Just like a nurturing mother, you have stuck with your blog and nurtured it into this fantastic website that is truly a daily delight and like a mini window or virtual vacation to the islands. Congratulations on a year!! I love Hawaii and love hearing what’s going on there. Hubby and I spent 2 months there just after we retired and it was so wonderful!
