How a child can instantly make you feel like a million bucks…

For those that know me…you know this week was tougher than most…medical insurance nightmares, an email that made me want to pack up and not blog anymore and just the overall sense of malaise that was upon me.

BUT, there is NOTHING like a sweet innocent comment from a child to brighten your day, week….hell, it made my year!

I was buckling my son into his car seat and he’s starring at me. I smile. He smiles.  

And then he says….

“Mom, you’re pretty”

As if he had just discovered this.

A million bucks folks, that’s how I felt…with a kid like that, who could have down days? (of course there are time when I get the “I HATE you!” or “Stop it!” when I go in for a kiss and god forbid interrupt a sponge bob marathon. {insert a rolling of the eyes here}) 

But, that right there, those three words, that made all that garbage of my very bad week, “poof!” disappear!
