We had a mini storm earlier this week. That means tradewinds were blowing, sprinkles were falling and Maui got even more gorgeous…even when it storms this place is heaven! Here are some pics…

Even when it storms on Maui, it’s in the upper 70s so that calls for dipping your feet in the water, with rain clouds up above and all

What a beautiful sunrise. I love the rainbow.
I went to Hawaii my senior year in high school, and fell in love – clearly since I named my daughter Moanna.
I remember it “storming” twice and it was a nice breeze and a sprinkle. I was all, THIS is what you all call a storm!? Really? You have no idea…

Renee, when we first came to Maui (the trip that ended with us buying a house and deciding to move over here), the day we landed it was STORMY, like torrential rain-can’t-see-out-of-your-window, street flooding, kinda of rain. And I’ve seen some good rain since living here but yeah, lately they tell us, “flash flood warning! “storm watch!” and it turns out to be some clouds and a few sprinkles. I get a little let down, lol.
But I still go out and use it as an excuse to get some good soup and a loaf of bread to dunk in it. Even if it is still 78 degrees out, its cloudy damn it! haha
