Adventures in Co-sleeping…Nice to see you again Mr. Burns

BIG news. HUGE! Last night my husband and I slept in the same bed…ALL NIGHT LONG!  If you’ve read this and this, then you know this is HUGE!

I think it may have had something to do with this little guy my sister got Cameron. Maybe with this new monster, Cam feel safe from other boogie monsters???

I don’t know, all I do know is that I hope this trend continues.  It sure was nice to sleep next to my husband!

Nice to see you again, Mr. Burns.

(I still had to get up for the dog (my husband and I took turns) and my daughter woke up with a HUGE wet diaper that needed to be changed, but each time I returned to the side of my hubby….ahhhh….)

  1. Sarah,

Congratulations, that’s awesome! :) Has Cam ever seen “Monster’s Inc.”? Sounds as though he would love it and it would definitely help dispell notions of mean monsters in the bedroom and it’s just an adorable flick.

  2. lucky! I still have a little bear in my bed. Smack dab between me and mr. stout. lol. But it will change once she gets a room!

    • What?! You’ve been co-sleeping? OMG, Stacia…can you believe Cam STILL wants to co-sleep….we
      are working on it!

  3. If Domokun doesn’t scare away the monsters take a look at fairytalewishesinc.com. My niece was having terrible trouble with sleeping and we got her the monster spray to spray under her bed and it did work really well for her. It comes with a personalized letter and a story all about why the bubblegum scented spray (with glitter) scares away monsters – because bubblegum gets stuck in their fur! I absolutely LOVE their products and just had to share. Either way I am so glad you got hubby back to yourself!

  4. my son just turned 6 a few days ago. up until the day my son turned 6 (did i mention that was a few days ago?), he would call me EVERY NIGHT, without fail, between the hours of 2:30 am and 4:30 am EST. And i would, half asleep, take that weary, bleary sojourn to his room. EVERY NIGHT. WITHOUT FAIL. to collect my little boy who was calling out to me.
and then he turned 6. and i don’t see him until 7:30am.
and even better, he now, officially wipes his own butt.

my daughter loves that domo guy. i think that’s his name.
anyway, hope you have a wonderful holiday season. enjoy the visit with your parents!
