Yes, yes, my mind is still in the loo. I know, I talked about bathrooms here and here. So why not round out the week with more bathroom talk during this week’s Aloha Friday? Don’t worry, nothing about urine or toilets will be brought up…
Ok, so let’s get the party started! It’s Aloha Friday, No Work Til Monday. Time to take it easy and just post a super simple question. Then you answer it in the comments. My question to you this week is….
Do you re-use your bath towel? Or do you grab a new one for each shower or bath?
And, how many towels do you use for each shower?
I use either two towels – one for my head and one for my body. Or my robe and one towel for my head. I need to get another one of those small towel thingys that’s just for your hair. The Turby Twist. That’s it. I need one of those. Very clever.
Oh, and I re-use my towels at least once and try to make sure everyone else does too. “Hang up your towel!” <–that’s me yelling at my husband.

I use only one towel when I shower and I try to reuse it a few times. I haven’t used a separate towel for my hair since I was a teenager and I used to wrap it up in a turban. I don’t know why I did that then but don’t now… it just seems so unnecessary to me now. LOL

@Susan (5 Minutes for Mom), That’s exactly what I do, I put it up in a turban, otherwise my hair takes forever to dry.
I reuse mine atleast twice.
I use 2 towels too.. one for my hair(turban style baby:P) and one for my body! I use them twice the most before i throw them in the washing machine.. and that’s cause i love the smell of fresh towels and i need ‘em as fresh as they can be:)

Men love to try and get away with reusing their towels. Too funny :) I use 2- one for the hair and one for the body.

I use one towel and will usually use it a few times before I wash it. I do towel laundry twice a week so I rarely take a new towel before the old one goes in the laundry.

I use a towel for my hair and one for my body. We always hang up the towels and reuse them a few more times. Your body is clean when you get out of the shower, so why waste water/energy washing the towels more often?

I am a 2 towel person..
One for body, one for hair!
As for re-using…
I am ALL ABOUT IT!
I mean, I am clean when I get out…
New towel per shower, 1 towel and 1 washcloth per shower.

I’m with you! We reuse them at least one more time. There are tons of towels with 5 people in the house.

I only use one towel. Since my hair is so short I don’t need to wrap it up anymore. But when it was longer I did the turban thing. Oh and I re use my towels like 3 times I think.

We own a LOT of towels, we have to with 5 people in the house that bathe daily, but most times I make the kids share a clean towel each night. My husband I use fresh ones for ourselves, but only one each. I just throw my hair into a bun while it’s wet.

I use 2 towels and I we reuse our towels.
I re-use my towels a few times before changing them. I use a towel to wrap my hair up, too. Otherwise, it’s hard to dry off when my hair is dripping water down my back. :-)

wow, what about energy saving? we reuse towels 2-3 times and i only use 1 towel, i dry off, then put on my robe and turban my hair with the same towel. my son however uses a new towel everytime, drives me crazy!! he will be paying for laundry next year at college and i am sure he will be reusing more!

I use 2 towels – 1 for my body AND I HAVE one of those turby twisty towels! I love it!!
We also use our towels a few times before getting a fresh one. Hey…we’re already clean, right??!!
