Don’t Lose Your Kids Stuff with Punkaboo (review & giveaway)

The other week I sent Cam to school with a lunchable. I totally gave into peer pressure when Cam whined to me “Mooooommmm, everyone else gets a pizza lunchable for lunch. Can I have one, pleeeeeaaaasssseeee!” I gave in. It’s was a “treat”…don’t call me a bad mom.

In this lunchable was also a dessert, an airhead candy (ok, so maybe that’s a bad mom move, but again, it’s a treat. Ok, no, it’s just bad mom behavior, so sue me). Anyhow Cam is not allowed to have candy at school so the teacher put it in his pouka (his box where his drawings and any notes for home go) then I was going to grab it and Cam could enjoy it at a later time.

This one day the candy was gone! So was Cam’s paperwork. A busy, and probably tired, mom had inadvertently taken the contents of Cam’s box instead of her son’s. Cam was bummed. No candy. I felt bad. I got him a treat on the way home…hey, I’m not winning any trophies here, right?

The moral of the story is that if I had used these awesome name stickers on everything imaginable that gets sent to school, including pieces of his lunch, Cam would have not lost his candy, I would not have had to stop on the way home and buy a lollipop (it was organic does that count?) and all would be well with the world.

Well, Leah is starting preschool in July so I am getting ready in advance with Punkaboo waterproof labels.  I received them for a review and you bet I’ll be using these cute stickers on her shoes, water bottle, blanket and lunch box, including her bento box inside and yes candy if I decide to send some…which I will NOT do (bad mommy! bad!).

Our Punkaboo labels have lasted through the dishwasher, being out and about, even multiple trips to the beach. The labels are bright, available in a ton of adorable designs and are big enough for me (and other moms) to see.

You can find the entire line of Punkaboo labels and tags at http://www.punkaboo.com/

I keep needing labels all the time these days. A Florida first for us, we have never had sooo many cold days, and it seems like every week I have to get labels for my baby’s sweaters, they keep dissapearing at daycare, and so are his snack packs!
I reall yneed the labels, can’t start to count how much I will be spending on lost summer items, and pool toys…..

I had a bright colored luggage tag on my run-of-the-mill blue suitcase and glad I did! Another lady almost (accidently) ran off with my suitcase. I recognized that bright pink polka dotted tag a mile away :)

My son went splunking with the boy scouts when he was young,he is now 35,when those boys came back,it was nothing but red mud,no one had labels ,so we moms had to go thru all that muddy stuff to idenify our sons stuff, yucky!!! if we had labels back then it wouldnt have been so bad

When my firstborn started preschool 3 years ago, I realized I really needed to label all of his stuff: from sport bottle to shirts and shoes and bag.

My son has a lot of little cousins and it’s basically a germ fest when everyone hangs out together drinking from each others sippy cups. I’d love to label all his stuff!

I once lost a stroller at an amusement park because some other lady took ours by mistake. She came back a few minutes later after she realized it wasn’t hers but those labels sure would have came in handy!
