Aloha Friday! What’s Your Wish?

We went for a walk yesterday up in the hills behind Launiupoko. This is my dream neighborhood.  We WILL live there in the near future.  I feel it!

We took the trails that the native Hawaiians used to take to get to the shore to fish many many years ago  If they got stuck after the sun went down they would set up camp in these awesome caves in the side of the mountain. It was super cool to walk the same path as they did. The kids loved the history of it and were hoping to find drawings or other artifacts along the trail.  We didn’t find anything, other than pure family bliss.  It was a really nice walk.

As we walked, the clouds opened up and cooled us off with an afternoon shower.  Then the sun came out to dry us off and out came the most beautiful rainbow.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

(this is how I feel about Hawaii…our dreams really are coming true here)

So, for today’s Aloha Friday question, let’s get dreamin’ and wishin’…

What do you wish for, right now?!

Could be just five mintes to yourself, could be a million bucks, share with us…

BUT write it this way…

Instead of a wish, say it as if it’s already happening. Envision, it. See it.

Really feel what it would feel like to have that wish be true.

Get daydreaming, it’s one of my favorite past times.

Here’s my wish…

I’m sitting on the porch of my three bedroom cottage in Launiupoko.  The whales are splashing in the distance and the kids are romping in the yard.  Duke is at my feet, snoring away and the sun is warming me up while the trade winds keep me cool.

Now it’s your turn, skies the limit, let er rip!

  5. I wouldn’t wish for anything material, I would wish that I could become a less indecisive person. I’d like to know what I want, how to achieve it and easily be able to make it a reality without being wishy washy with my choices.

I am sitting on the floor with my kids, with books that we jsut read scattered about. No a computer or iphone are in sight. We’re laughing and sharing silly stories. I’m taking a mental picture in my head and will forever remember this time with them. I am present. It feels so awesome!

I am in the middle of traveling the globe. I decided to take the day off from exploring the country I have planted myself in for a while to get some R&R. I am sitting on the balcony, over looking the tropical waters, listening to the palm trees rustle and the waves crash. Later, I will go eat dinner on the ocean’s shore with my husband as the sunsets and the warm night sets in. Before we return to the hotel, we will take a walk on the beach and dream about our next big adventure.

    That is beautiful!

I am sitting in my soft recliner when the mail comes. A large stack of big white envelopes to be opened. I peer inside. All my creditors are thanking me for paying them off in full. I am relaxed, happy and free from the burden of debt.
