First Ponytails, Eggs of a different color and quilts

This morning we were gathered around our table enjoying some coffee and I had Leah sitting on my lap. I was playing with her hair when I realized that her hair now made a ponytail! Let the true girly-ness begin!  I am so excited.  I think Leah may be scared.

Cameron is home from school for SEVEN days and already he’s bored. So we colored eggs. Maybe a bit early but it was fun. My problem now is figuring out what I am going to do with all of these hard boiled eggs? I don’t like cold hard boiled eggs all that much, myself. Bleh.

But they sure are pretty!

And then a package arrived. The kid’s new quilts to go on their new twin beds! And I LOVE them. They are the Blue Island and Pink Island Patchwork quilts from Pottery Barn Kids. They were on sale so I nabbed them up.

Now Leah is napping, I’m working and Cam is out playing his first round of golf with Daddy.  I’m pretty sure he’s probably sleeping in the golf cart right about now.

All in all, it’s been a good day!

  3. Yay! I love the day I can finally do something with my girls’ hair! So exciting!

  4. The quilts are awesome. My sister was just shopping there for Star Wars items and toy chests. :) Have you seen the rugs that are shaped like surfboards? I am sure you have or already own them. LOL.

I have no clue what to do about your egg dilemma. You don’t even like them deviled? Are are doing ours on Sunday. We bought “themed” Easter Kits – Sesame Street and Star Wars. It should be interesting… LOL.

And so cute about Leah’s hair. When Lochlans (obv. a boy) was long I used to brush and play with it like he was a doll. Have fun with it! Lots of cute hair accessories out there! I do like just brush and go (or run fingers through hair and go) for the boys though. LOL.

  5. Yay for pony tails! Moanna’s hair is so fine, it’s impossible to keep her hair up. We have to redo several times a day.
