Lahaina Town, Maui

Front Street in Lahaina town is filled with touristy treats, good food and a step back in time through the historic buildings.

The Old Lahaina Courthouse looks over Lahaina Harbor on one side and the world famous Banyan Tree on the other.  Kids and adults alike with be in awe of the giant tree. It’s gorgeous…and very very loud at sunset when the birds all flock to the tree and talk to one another every night. Be sure to check it out when in town.

  4. Sarah, thanks for sharing. To many people who have never visited (and even some who have), Maui is just a tropical paradise with world-class beaches (which of course we have). But we should also advertise, as you do, all the other things that we offer: culture, history, local art (I could go on but that would be a post all its own). Again, great post, Sarah.

  5. I just love it when you share a bit of Maui with us. It’s almost a year since we visited Lahaina and I don’t think a week goes by when we don’t talk about that visit and daydream about when we’ll go back.

  6. Such beautiful pictures, thanks for sending the Aloha Spirit in this post, it makes me smile!:-) I have to tell you, I love your site, the look and the feel are fantastic.
    Thanks & Aloha,
