Hula Shake {linky love} Blast Off! with KidsCraft

Summer is here, the kids are out of school and that means it’s time to think up some fun stuff to keep them busy, keep them learning and of course, keep them using their imagination. And the KidsCraft cardboard space shuttle is just the thing! Made out of recycled cardboard, this rocket ship took no time for my husband to set up.  And it ain’t rocket science…the folks at KidsCraft supplied easy to understand instructions and made set up a snap!

From KidsCraft….

“This cardboard playhouse is made in the U.S.A using 100% recycled cardboard material. The Shuttle Imagination will take your child on a new adventure every day. The unique design allows for a sturdy drawing surface and reliable stability during play. The Shuttle Imagination is eco-friendly and encourages creative play. Measurements(Assembled): 39″L x 34″W x 72″H Fin attachments are 12″ in length”

The rocket ship lasted a good two weeks before we took it down…for the first time.  We had guests so I took it down but put it back up when they left.  The space shuttle not only withstood me taking it down and putting it back up, but then lasted another half a week!

The Ultimate Space Themed Birthday Party

This product would be perfect for a birthday party…Go with the space theme…just buy one or two of these shuttles, put them together, then let the kids go to town coloring and decorating them (maybe even make it a contest with prizes).  Then the kids can play in the rocket ships and become space invaders, all in their own home or backyard.  Do pin the star on the constellation, add a spaceship to the cupcakes and voila, you’ve got an out of this world party!

KidsCraft also makes an adorable cardboard house that I am sure boys and girls alike would love.
