My where a drive on Maui will take you!

Yesterday we set out for a drive, like we do many weekends. And like many drives we ended up at a new found place. Far up the West coast of Maui, past Honolua Bay my husband spied this white sand beach. We parked on the highway then walked down to discover rocks, shells, drift wood, crab skins and a rope swing. It was a really nice Sunday…

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and hope your week is off to a great start!

  1. Hi Sarah! Beautiful spot! I bet it’s nice to get out, explore and spend time together – especially now that school has started. Seems our lives are so busy during the week. I look forward to weekends with “nothing” to do.

  2. Ahhhh, so pretty! We could drive for hours from our house near Houston and never see anything lovely. :p When we lived in Oregon it was a totally different story, though – we used to go on drives all the time. We were an hour from the mountains one way and an hour from the beach the other. Isn’t it awesome to live around such natural beauty?! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Beautiful, just beautiful!

  4. Love the pics! It sounds like a perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday! How fun for the kids to come across that swing – my older one would love something like that!

  5. A few weeks ago I began planning a trip to Hawaii- outlining where to stay, how to get around, where to go, most importantly how much to start saving! But with school starting and schedule changes my notes got buried in a pile and I just have to thank you for posting some photos to inspire me to get back on track with that (and not to buy a new pair of shoes, but instead save that cash and put it toward the trip!)
    Thanks Sarah!!!

  7. Very beautiful sarah! I love all the rocks in the water, it just makes the scenery. You know what I have to do next time we run to the beach…i saved some glass bottled cokes and im going to have charlotte color the sand and pour it in there w/ some shells.

  8. What great pictures. The one of the crabs and y’all by the boulders reminds me of growing up in California. I loved the tidal pools!
