Top 10 Cool & Easy Last Minute Gift Ideas

Time is ticking and if you are like me, you’ll be searching for the perfect last minute gift or stocking stuffer.  Well, here are my fave places for giving and receiving… I say go for at least $20 on the gift cards, other than the Starbucks and Jamba Juice, then $10 or even $5 would be a great small stocking stuffer.

  1. Target gift card- who doesn’t love Target!? Can be used online too!
  2. Trader Joes Gift Certificate – so tough for me to add this one…it actually stings a tad bit…since we DON’T HAVE ONE in HAWAII {damn it!} But it’s a ROCKIN’ gift!
  3. Starbucks Cards - this is great even for those that say they don’t like Starbucks or coffee…if you are stuck at an airport, need some lunch or even just need some organic milk for your little one, a Starbucks gift card can come in handy!
  4. ITunes Gift Card – they can buy music or apps for their phone if they have an iphone or itouch – good for giving to kids to download apps they want on the itouch too!
  5. A month, 4 month or year subscription to Netflix – can be purchased online with the gift sent via email OR print out the certificate, buy a bag or bucket of microwave popcorn and a box of red vines, tie a red ribbon around it and you’ve just given them date night!
  6. A magazine subscription – print out a cute note explaining you’ve gotten them a sub, go buy 1 copy of the magazine you got the sub too, roll it up with your note around it, tie with a ribbon and voila!
  7. In-N-Out gift certificate – if you or the loved one live in California or Las Vegas (I soooo miss In-N-Out!) These make fantastic stocking stuffers!
  8. A shutterfly gift certificate – we all have pictures we’re stalling on printing, right? This is a great easy-to-do last minute gift! OR give to the grandparents so you can send them pics via Shutterfly all year and they can print them on their own time through using the gift certificate!
  9. Barnes & Noble gift card - you can purchase this online and have it emailed if time or miles are between you and the giftee AND you can use it to buy coffee at their coffee shop (most also offer free Internet access – BONUS!)
  10. Jamba Juice or another smoothie place – promote eating better and great for warm climate folks

I actually got a bunch of Applebee’s gift cards because for every $50 you spend you get another $10 free. I also have a few Walmart gift cards to get. Other than that, I’m DONE with shopping. (wrapping on the other hand…)

Wow your site has changed SOOO much since I was here last! Love it!

I think gift cards are one of the best ideas for last minute gifts – especially when you’re trying to figure out what to get for someone who has absolutely everything already. We have a lot of people on our shopping list each year that get gift cards for that reason! :)
