Calling all Hawaii Lovers…Let’s Buy Back the Beach!

one of the amazing beaches of Hawaii, Polihua on Lana'i

I am so honored to again be part of the social media team for this year’s Buy Back the Beach Event, happening at the Old Lahaina Luau on January 28th.

If you are a fan of Hawaii and want to help preserve its land and beaches, then read more. Any and all donations are welcome, just support however you can…share this post, re-tweet the tweets, share on Facebook!

Let’s show Hawaii how much we love it!

Even better? Come and be part of this event. The amazing music of Hapa will be filling the air. Last year they gave me chills and tears in my eyes…they are so good and their music is so special!

You’ll enjoy the traditional luau spread and sample tastings from Aloha Mixed Plate, Star Noodle, and the brand new Leoda’s Kitchen & Pie Shop. A live Auction will take place for some of the most extraordinary outings like lunch with U.S. Poet Laureate William S. Merwin at his home in Haiku or a 3-night stay beachfront on Hanalei Bay.  There is something for everyone!

For more information, see all of the details below. I hope to see you at the event or supporting from home via Twitter (follow @HILandTrust or hashtag #BBTB2012).

    • no, no beaches in Hawaii are private. And we want to keep it that way. This fund buys land to preserve it, keep it safe to let it flourish.
